Own DB (₹2,999/year) is for technical teams who want to host their own Supabase database. You get unlimited employees, full SQL access, and your data lives on your infrastructure. You pay Supabase directly for hosting (free tier available). All Pyrelo features included.

On hosted plans, your data is isolated using row-level security — no other team can ever see your data. On the Own DB plan, you get your own dedicated database that only you control. We never access your data on either plan.

Yes. Every section has an Export button that downloads your data as CSV. Own DB users can also access their database directly via SQL. You always own your data and can leave anytime.

We'll prompt you to upgrade to the next plan. No surprise per-user charges, no overage fees — just move up to the tier that fits.

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from your billing page. The price difference is pro-rated. Hosted ↔ Own DB switches are also possible — contact us for migration.

No. Row-level security ensures each user can only see their own data. Admins manage users but can't access personal content.

Your license deactivates. On the Own DB plan, your database and data remain untouched — you own it forever. On hosted plans (Starter / Growth / Scale), your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation.

Own DB setup in 5 minutes

This guide is for the Own DB plan (₹2,999/year). You'll need your own Supabase account. If you chose Starter, Growth, or Scale — skip this. Your dashboard is ready instantly.

Create a free Supabase account

Go to supabase.com and sign up with your GitHub account. It's completely free.

Tip: The free plan includes 2 projects, 500MB database, and 1GB storage — more than enough for most teams.

Note for larger teams: If your organization has a large number of users or expects heavy usage, you may need Supabase's Pro plan (₹2,100/month) for higher database limits, more storage, and better performance. The free tier works great for teams up to ~50 users.

Create a new project

Click "New Project" in your Supabase dashboard. Give it a name (e.g. your company name), set a database password, and choose a region close to your team.

Important: Save your database password — you'll need it later. Choose the region nearest to your team for best performance.

Copy your project credentials

Once the project is ready, go to Settings → APIin your Supabase dashboard. You'll find four things we need:

Where to find these: In your Supabase dashboard, go to Settings → API and look under "Project API keys". The service_role key is hidden by default — click "Reveal" to copy it. You can also just search for "API" or "keys" in the Supabase dashboard search bar (Ctrl+K) to jump there directly.
